Consulting

When your audit department requires additional resources, Canaudit consultants are just a phone call away. Our consulting staff of audit professionals have specific expertise that can be applied to your audit needs. Whether you are trying to convert your audit department to the integrated concept, or facing a complex technical audit, we can provide the resources needed to get the job done.

When To Use Consultants

We believe consultants should be used to augment existing audit resources, not as a vehicle to outsource the audit department. Consultants are particularly useful when you have a one-time need for specific skills, such as:

Converting the audit department to integrated auditing
Providing an outside, independent audit of a complex business situation
Implementing major changes to the audit methodology
Supplying specific skills for a one time audit
Transferring specific skills to staff
Supplementing the audit complement during periods of staff turnover, hiring freezes, etc.

Converting To Integrated Auditing

Many Canaudit clients are converting to the integrated audit concept. Canaudit consultants are available to assist you in implementing our Integrated Auditing Methodology. They can also tailor the methodology to fit your existing audit approach.

The conversion process begins with an evaluation of your department's requirements, followed by an on-site seminar presentation. Our consultants then help your auditors to conduct their first integrated audit. For more information concerning our integrated audit conversion package, please contact Gordon Smith at gordon@canaudit.com.
