Performing a Security Baseline

The IT Audit and Security functions are inundated with regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and others. This includes projects to ensure that the controls are in place to protect confidential information and to prevent identity theft or the compromise of sensitive financial data. This 4-day, hands-on workshop will teach attendees the skills needed to perform an IT Audit and Security Baseline. Participants will learn how to identify poorly secured operating systems, databases and wireless, dial-up and Internet vulnerabilities. Participants will complete a series of simulations and exercises designed to build the knowledge to safely and sanely use available audit tools.
